Alex A Molinaroli is the CEO and President of Ford Motor Company, a global automotive company that specializes in the production of cars, trucks, vans, and sport utility vehicles. Alex was born on February 21st 1952 in Detroit Michigan to immigrant parents from Italy. He attended Valparaiso University where he received his Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering with minors in Mathematics and Physics. He went on to study at the University of Michigan where he received his Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering. Prior to his role as CEO, Alex served as Executive Vice President of Global Product Development and Chief Technical Officer for GM. He was also responsible for overseeing GM’s efforts toward alternative energy solutions, including an investment of $300 million with Project Driveway for flexible fuel vehicles, the development of E-Flex Systems, and establishing GM’s Technical Center in China.

In June 2014, Alex A Molinaroli was appointed CEO of Ford Motor Company succeeding Alan R. Mulally, who held the CEO position from September 2006 through June 2014.
